Based on our recent experience, I would recommend a minimum stay of four nights. This timeframe not only allows you to settle into the hotel’s amenities, such as the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a coffee machine and dishwashing machine, but it also provides an opportunity to unwind after a day of meetings. Enjoying breakfast together with colleagues or friends can foster a sense of camaraderie, making it easier to discuss business matters or simply bond over a shared meal in a more relaxed setting.
Despite the notable comforts, it is crucial to address the kitchen’s lack of a key essential—the knife—something that can be more critical than one might initially think. While we had our knife, the absence of such a fundamental item could become a source of frustration, especially if you're planning to prepare your meals. That said, if you are traveling with colleagues you trust, the arrangement of having two couples sharing the same apartment works exceptionally well, as each couple benefits from their own bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience. However, should you be traveling alone or with unfamiliar individuals, it might be worth considering the option of securing an entire apartment for added comfort, which could significantly enhance your stay.
In addition to the practicalities of sharing space, the overall quality of communication with the host was an added bonus. A responsive host can make a considerable difference in business travel, ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed swiftly. In the grand scheme, a four-night stay allows sufficient time not only to navigate the challenges and comforts of shared accommodations but also to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Bari. This perfect blend of work and leisure is what ultimately makes for a fulfilling business trip, setting the stage for productive meetings by day and relaxed evenings in good company.
